Abstract: This study reports a case of mediastinal benign teratoma treated with endoscopic resection via the transoral vestibular approach. We retrospectively analyzed the patient's clinical data, diagnostic and therapeutic process, intraoperative findings, and treatment outcomes. As a benign germ cell tumor, mediastinal teratoma is most effectively managed by surgical excision. We presented the case of a 16-year-old female patient with a preoperative diagnosis of an upper mediastinal benign tumor. Given the patients strong preference for cosmetic outcomes, a multidisciplinary team opted for an endoscopic transoral vestibular approach for tumor resection. The procedure was successfully completed with complete tumor removal. Intraoperative nerve monitoring effectively preserved critical structures such as the recurrent laryngeal nerve. Histopathology confirmed a benign teratoma, and no significant postoperative complications occurred. The patient expressed satisfaction with both the therapeutic and cosmetic results. The transoral vestibular approach may be considered a viable surgical option for mediastinal teratoma.

摘要： 报道一例采用经口腔前庭入路腔镜手术治疗纵隔良性畸胎瘤的病例。回顾性分析患者的临床资料、诊疗经过、术中所见和治疗效果。纵隔畸胎瘤作为一种良性的生殖细胞肿瘤,手术切除是最有效的治疗方法。本文报告一例16岁女性患者,术前诊断考虑为上纵隔良性肿瘤,患者对美容具有较高的需求,经多学科讨论后选择经口腔前庭入路实施腔镜肿瘤切除手术。手术过程顺利,完整切除肿瘤,联合神经监测技术有效保护了喉返神经等重要组织结构,术中诊断为良性畸胎瘤,术后无明显并发症,患者对治疗效果美容效果均满意。经口腔前庭入路可作为治疗纵隔畸胎瘤的一种手术方式选择。
